Repsol to complete acquisition of Talisman Energy in May

Talisman Energy said it expects the completed date for its acquisition by Repsol to be completed in May.

The company, which announced its planned takeover of Talisman last year, said it planned to close the deal on May 8.

In February, Talisman shareholders voted to approve the US$8.3billion offer from Repsol, clearing the way for the Spanish company to acquire Talisman’s worldwide. – Energy Voice
