SolarCity names Radford Small new EVP

SolarCity Corporation announced that Radford Small has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Global Capital Markets. Radford will be responsible for securing diversified sources of capital in the banking and institutional markets for SolarCity’s high quality solar assets.

Radford, who is among the most experienced clean technology investment bankers in the U.S., has a track record of industry firsts—including the first US$200 million MyPower securitization and the recent $160 million term facility with BofA Merrill Lynch, Key Bank and Silicon Valley Bank.

Radford joined SolarCity from Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he was a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for the Clean Technology and Renewables group. Over his 17 year career in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, Radford served clients across multiple areas of the energy sector including regulated utilities, independent power producers and clean technology companies. He raised over US$20 billion in financing and worked on over US$25 billion of mergers and acquisitions transactions.
