Dagang Nexchange Q3 net profit rises To RM15.7 Million

Dagang NeXchange Bhd’s (DNeX) net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2017 (Q317) more than doubled to RM15.7 million from RM6.7 million recorded in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue increased 34 % to RM49.50 million from RM36.84 million registered, previously.

In a statement today, DNex said the company’s strong performance was boosted by an increase in revenue contribution from both its IT & e-Services and energy divisions.

The strong growth, year to date, was anchored by core trade facilitation business, as well as, additional income streams from new projects and businesses that were successfully executed last year, it said.

Under the IT & e-Services division, the group said it recognised new recurring income from the vehicle entry permit and road charges operations and maintenance contract, as well as, processing of eWork Permit applications.
