IndianOil bags innovation award

IndianOil received the 6th National Award for Technology Innovation in the category of Innovation in Polymeric Material, jointly with Ester Industries, Delhi.

The award was given for a high productivity High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) injection moulding grade 080M60 was successfully introduced by IndianOil last year.

The award was presented by Minister of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Mr. Ananth Kumar, in the presence of Mr. Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, Hon’ble Minister of State for Chemicals & Fertilizers, during the function organized at FICCI federation house, New Delhi on January 20, 2016.

The product in HDPE is a first of its kind in the world and has been entirely developed in-house by a cross-functional team of BD Petrochemicals, Product Application & Development Center, PNC and R&D. It delivers the benefits of cycle time reduction, lower energy consumption and high productivity in end-user applications.
